Let's Make Green Work

I am keen to prioritise work that centres the environment and sustainable practices as I grow my portfolio. In line with this I wanna hear about your project if it speaks of the anthropocene in innovative and sustainable ways for alternative

futures

I am a change maker, part of the international touring and environmental responsibility programme, using the methods below whilst focusing on:

  • imagining new ecologies on stage;

  • planning for sustainable productions.

Contact me with the email at the bottom of this page and let me know about your project. If it intersects with queer and decolonial methods then I am extra excited to hear about it!

my Methods

Magical Realism

"if magical realism is first an explanation of culture... rather than being multicultural, it is something closer to otherculturism"

Alberto Ríos

Ecodramaturgy

"theatre could be a place to embody the stories... that might foster a just and compassionate response to climate change"

Theresa J. May

Magical Realism: A tool used to reimagine or question a more-than-human reality, to see the real through the context of magic proposing alternative, hopeful futures in its place.

Ecodramaturgy: A tool that structures theatre in new and sustainable ways to elicit audience and artist engagement in reconciling with, acting for, and responding to the climate crisis.
