so you wanna write a play?
A dramaturg is an ally, advocate, and firm friend to the work that a writer is developing.
I can onboard with a project at any stage of its development, whether that is:
-
finessing the concept into a treatment;
-
supporting the script between its drafts;
-
or representing your voice in a rehearsal room as the script changes with actor, director, and producer input.
Think of me as your coach and cheerleader. I will push you and your work to ensure its best quality is reached, but I will also be rooting for you every step of the way and keeping your spirits high as the process goes along.
